The Sales Support Specialist is crucial in assisting the Commercial Banking sales team to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall success within Tri City National Bank’s Commercial Banking department.

 

Compensation: $70,000+ depending on experience.

 

This position is located in-office at one of our branch locations. 

Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Schedule meetings, plan events, manage calendars, and handle correspondence to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Prepare loan applications, treasury management documentation, and deposit applications.
  • Assist in crafting loan approval presentations and post-approval modifications.
  • Coordinate collateral release and documentation changes.
  • Liaise with attorneys, appraisers, title companies, and other third parties to ensure accurate documentation for loan closings and account openings.
  • Support audits, examinations, and compliance reviews, ensuring target maintenance of past due accounts and file exceptions.

Customer Relationship Management and Sales Coordination:

  • Maintain and update customer databases, managing client relationships proactively to enhance satisfaction.
  • Serve as a point of contact for commercial clients' daily needs, nurturing prospects into loyal clients.
  • Coordinate sales activities, including joint calls and referrals; prepare sales reports, manage CRM entries, and monitor sales pipelines.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and track joint calls and referrals.

Sales Team Support and Strategy Assistance

  • Organize and prepare sales presentations, materials, and proposals to assist the sales team.
  • Identify sales opportunities to drive performance.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities, providing valuable insights to the sales team.
  • Aid in developing and implementing sales strategies and promotional activities to meet targets.
  • Plan and execute customer appreciation events.

Training and Communication:

  • Support the onboarding of new Commercial Banking team members, ensuring they understand sales processes and product knowledge.
  • Act as a communication conduit between the Commercial Banking team, other departments, and external stakeholders to promote collaboration.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills for handling multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, Co-Pilot, and internal CRM software; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and engage with various stakeholders to achieve goals.
  • Analytical mindset for interpreting sales performance data and generating actionable insights.
  • Previous experience in sales support, management, or administration is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field can be advantageous.
  • Experience in loan processing, closing, servicing, origination, and administration; account opening expertise is a plus.
