Tri City National Bank is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise systems across multiple data centers. This senior-level role is crucial for aligning infrastructure with business strategy and guiding IT initiatives.

 

Our ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills to drive the change management process and mentor junior staff, technical expertise, and excellent communication for collaboration across the bank.

Compensation: Negotiable depending on experience.

 

This role is on-site at our operations center located in West Allis, WI. 

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure systems, including VMware, HCI hardware, and Windows Server.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and authentication systems.
  • Manage enterprise backup and disaster recovery using Veeam and related tools.
  • Support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other collaboration platforms.
  • Deploy and manage SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) for software updates and patch management.
  • Perform root cause analysis to resolve complex infrastructure issues under pressure.
  • Monitor and support network hardware, including Cisco and Meraki devices.
  • Maintain SQL Server environments, including backup and maintenance plans.
  • Lead infrastructure projects, focusing on virtualization and high availability across data centers.
  • Develop and enforce configuration and change management standards to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and recovery plans.
  • Participate in architectural planning and provide guidance to IT leadership.
  • Mentor junior staff on technical design and best practices.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in enterprise infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Expertise with VMware (vSphere, vCenter, HA, replication, snapshots).
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, GPOs, and login/security scripting.
  • Proficiency in SCCM, WSUS, Intune, and software deployment tools.
  • Scripting ability for automation and configuration changes.
  • Networking experience, including security appliances and protocols.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (local travel required; mileage reimbursed).
  • Participation in on-call rotation (mobile phone stipend provided).
  • Availability for occasional weekend and after-hours work.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cisco/Meraki devices and Citrix VDI environments.
  • Familiarity with hyperconverged infrastructure and Entra AD Hybrid.
  • Knowledge of RingCentral and other unified messaging platforms.
  • Experience deploying SSO/MFA solutions (e.g., RSA) via Active Directory.
  • Prior experience in regulated environments (banking, healthcare, insurance).
  • Technical certifications and expertise in BCDR planning.
