As a Document Servicer, you'll manage the processing of paid, purged, and partial loan releases. You'll ensure that loan collateral is released in compliance with state statutes and bank procedures, while maintaining accurate loan records. This role involves collaborating with loan officers, third parties, compliance teams, and auditors to provide critical document support.

Responsibilities

  • Process paid loan notes and release collateral per state laws and internal procedures.
  • Prepare and electronically record satisfactions using Simplifile-DocBuilder. Terminate UCC filings with relevant agencies. Terminate our lien for vehicles through DealerTrack.
  • Organize and retain loan files in accordance with policies and regulatory guidelines, maintaining accurate records.
  • Classify, alphabetize, and research documents as needed to ensure proper documentation.
  • Manage email requests from officers, team members, and auditors, providing loan documents and support.
  • Assist in writing and updating procedures and participate in annual reviews.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the loan servicing process.

Qualifications

  • Experience in banking, loan processing, or document management. Knowledge of OPUS, FIS Insight, Abrigo-Sageworks, or Simplifile-DocBuilder is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and time-sensitive information.
  • Ability to lift and carry files/boxes weighing 20-25 pounds.
