The IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining TCNB IT infrastructure as well as applications and desktop operating systems.

 

This position is on-site at our Operations Center locatedin West Allis, WI. 

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the Senior Infrastructure Engineer to ensure the infrastructure and applications are installed, configured and working correctly.  Assist the Senior Infrastructure Engineer with managing and maintaining the vSphere, Active Directory and Storage environments through upgrades and configuration changes.  Perform tasks as assigned and manage small projects as required.
  • Intermediate knowledge and implementation of Group Policy in Active Directory. Experience researching and troubleshooting GPO performance issues is a plus.
  • Previous experience managing and maintaining Active Directory Federated Services is a plus.
  • Previous experience performing upgrades to Active Directory, Storage Systems and vSphere is a plus.
  • Manage software lifecycles of all enterprise applications as part of a team.  Regularly upgrade applications to a current version.  Write documented procedures for other team members to follow on how to manually install or upgrade applications.
  • Create, test and deploy applications to workstations using Microsoft SCCM to reduce manual installations.
  • Work as part of the patching team to patch and update the Windows Operating Systems using SCCM.  Previous experience designing and deploying patching solutions is a plus.
  • Create, test and deploy workstation images using SCCM OS Deployment.  Maintain documented procedures for overall processes like workstation builds.
  • Manage Microsoft SCCM Inventory of Clients and Applications, SCCM OS Deployment, WSUS, and other infrastructure management tools.
  • Use Cisco Call Manager to deploy and manage desktop phones.  Works with our 3rd party service provider to perform add/move/changes for the phone system.
  • Previous networking experience with Cisco/Meraki Routers and Switches is a plus.
  • Previous experience Identifying problems, recommending solutions as well as planning implementation to address business needs.
  • Utilizes Project Management and Change Management to effectively plan and work with as a team in an organized and collaborative manner.
  • Supporting end user computing team as Level 3 technical resource

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Services or Information Technology OR 5+ years of experience/design and build of Microsoft Infrastructure
  • 5 Years in an infrastructure support role for an enterprise
  • Demonstrated success in managing and rolling out enterprise IT projects

TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE: 

  • Thorough knowledge and experience with Windows 10 and Windows 2016+ Server operating systems, Active Directory, and NTFS permissions
  • Deployment and management of group policies and resources
  • Understanding of security best practices
  • Deployment and management of Office 365, Intune, and Microsoft ATP
  • Experience maintaining VMWare vSphere in a production environment
  • Design, deployment and management of SCCM, Deployment server (for windows 10), WSUS
  • Experience implementing Applications that utilize Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with banking applications such as FIS / Optima IMS / Hyland OnBase
  • Experience writing Technical Documentation, How to guides, Build procedures, support procedures and Technology policies
